Bishop Steven A. Mason, a native of Washington, DC was called to the ministry in 1975. He became an ordained Minister of the International Bible Way Church World Wide Incorporated in 1984. Bishop-elect Mason and First Lady Mason have been united for 47 years. God has blessed them with 5 children and 7 grandchildren. BishopMason is the nephew of the late founder of the Evergreen Bible Church, Elder Joseph W. Grooms. He has been ministering and pastoring the Evergreen Bible Way Church for 32 years. His ministry has been marked by anointed preaching, insightful teaching, and a love for the souls of men and women throughout the community. Bishop Mason and the Evergreen Bible Way Family have a vision to expand the church in such a way that it would become a great asset and blessing to the community. Bishop Mason is definitely a man with the "people at heart". He is a man of integrity with a heart for the souls of men, women, and children to be saved. Bishop Mason has experienced many challenges in life, however the glory and honor belongs to God, because he is still standing on the Powerful Word of God.
